Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 8600 Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The IT Quality Control Advisor will develop, review, and enhance automated test scripts.
How you will make an impact:
• Manage automated tests, schedule test activities, and report progress, and document the success and failure of test cases.
• Analyze test results and create test reports.
• Create and update function libraries, applications, automation scripts and data files and author detailed documentation.
• Drive review and approval of automation plans with the team.
• Conduct hands-on testing of impacted functional areas including writing test plans and executing tests.
• Mentor QA staff on QA best practices and new industry advances/technology/applications.
• Develop detailed test plans and test scripts from functional specifications and technical design documents.
• Monitor and track defects and issues associated with automated testing.
• Manage and grow business regression test scripts.
• Aid in the development and refinement of structured QA processes.
• Debug software products using systematic automated QA tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Evaluate and implement testing tools and automated scripts needed to provide test coverage.
• Review and provide feedback on technical documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).
Additional Requirements:
Five (5) years of experience must include:
• Five (5) years of experience with constructing automation testing frameworks using Selenium and managing and upholding automation frameworks and procedures.
• Three (3) years of experience with REST or SOAP API, JSON, and XML formats.
• Three (3) years of experience with API testing tools with at least two of the following: JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• Three (3) years of experience with software testing tools using Quality Center, Jira, and TFS.
• Three (3) years of experience using JIRA. Three (3) years of experience testing web applications.
• Three (3) years of experience with XML, SQL, REST APIs, and user interfaces built with JavaScript.
• One (1) year of experience with CI/CD release management processes and how they integrate with quality checkpoints.
• One (1) year of experience with one of the following databases: SQL, Sybase, or MongoDB.
