Infrastructure Services Engineer Senior Advisor
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 233 South Wacker Drive, Suite 3700, Chicago, IL 60606
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Infrastructure Services Engineer Senior Advisor will design, develop, and implement Elevance Health Cloud foundation capabilities.
How you will make an impact:
• Write Ansible playbooks and Terraform modules for end-to-end automation.
• Collaborate with information security, enterprise architecture, and cloud governance teams for audit and compliance needs.
• Integrate container platform with enterprise core services for compliance, monitoring, and governance.
• Gather application requirements and deliver platform capabilities to support application runtime needs.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents involving container platform failures.
• Document physical implementation details of container platform architecture specific to each cloud service provider.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Eight (8) years of experience working in related occupation(s).
Additional Requirements:
Eight (8) years of experience must include:
• Eight (8) years of experience working in information technology.
• Two (2) years of infrastructure automation experience, including at least one of the following tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Two (2) years of experience with cloud native services, including EC2, ALB, IAM, S3, and VPC.
• Two (2) years of Kubernetes based container platform experience, including EKS, Openshift, or GKE.
• Two (2) years of experience with Agile SDLC, DevOps, and infrastructure as code principles.
• One (1) year of Shell or Python scripting experience.
• One (1) year of application or infrastructure cloud migration experience.
• CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Up to 5% domestic travel required.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field and six (6) years of experience working in Information technology. Must have skills listed above.
