Elevance Health continually improves the environmental sustainability of our operations and business activities to make our communities healthier.
Elevance Health’s company-wide environmental policy, strategy, and goals are overseen by the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors. Our Chief Sustainability Officer is responsible for establishing our strategy, reporting on environmental sustainability initiatives, and identifying climate-related risks and opportunities.
Elevance Health is part of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. It calls on companies to align with universal principles on human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption.
